"The History of Yancy Powersports & Sport Shop & Repair"
It all started 30 years ago, Yancy Powersports LLC is a family owned business. I started in 1989 at the Sport Shop & Repair.
In 1990 Todd & Robyn Yancy became 50/50 partners with the late Clarence (Sonny) Schabell (Robyn's Father) in Bonduel, WI. at the "Sport Shop & Repair" previously "The Cecil Sport Shop" which was founded in 1969/70 in Cecil, WI. by Clarence. In 1983 Clarence moved 3 miles south from Cecil to Bonduel & purchased a larger facility now known as the Sport Shop & Repair. In 1999 Todd & Robyn purchased 100% of the business and became 100% Owners & Sole Proprietors of the "Sport Shop & Repair LLC". In 2004 Todd relocated to Hickory Corners 5 miles east of Suring, WI. near Kelly Lake opening Yancy Powersports LLC specializing in Marine & Snowmobile Parts, Service & Boat Storage. Storing 100 plus boats indoors for the winter. Robyn Yancy operates the Sport Shop & Repair LLC which is also a Marine & Snowmobile Parts, Service & Boat Storage Business. Storing up to 180 Boats indoors for the winter. Robyn is also an Authorized Yamaha Outboard Dealer, specializing also in New Snowmobile & Outboard Parts and Used Salvage Parts for all makes any models of outboard engines & snowmobiles. Both businesses focus on the customers needs for parts & service over the counter and in house repairs for pontoon boats, fishing boats, ski & speed boats, outboard engines, inboard engines, snowmobiles & Pwc's. We buy, sell or trade new & used parts for all makes, models & years 1970 to the present. We sell used units on consignment. We can get you new or used parts over the counter if you want to fix it yourself. Yancy Powersports offers 6 different rental pontoon boats in our fleet. Both stores offer huge indoor facilities for winter storage for anything from Boats to RV's to cars also outboard & inboard winterizing services for all makes and models of boats. Summer indoor storage for snowmobiles and more. Interior & exterior Boat detailing we also power wash & clean carpets on boats & wash boat hulls. We offer boat refurbishing services, floor deck, carpet & vinyl replacement, upholstery work, you name it. If it has to do with boats, sleds, pwc's, Yancy Powersports & Sport Shop & Repair can help you, clean it, find or get you the parts you need sometimes even if the parts may be obsolete, if it is out there in the world we know how to find it not always but in most cases. Todd & Robyn first married in 1990 had a son Matthew Yancy in 1993. In early 2004 Todd & Robyn separated and in 2004 Todd's son Maxwell Yancy was born. In 2012 Todd & Robyn started dating and remarried in 2013. We value our time with God, Family and we all 4 enjoy every minute of every day and do not take each other, life or things for granite. Robyn said to me "It's not every day you get to marry the man you Love twice" I agree with my wife She is 100% right. "It is not every day a man gets to marry the Woman he Loves twice." I am Blessed.
As of November 1, 2019, After 30 Years of working in the Marine Industry Todd is in the process of selling the commercial building & will be working from Bonduel with my Family selling parts online and managing a Fleet of 6 Pontoon Rentals. I want to Thank each & everyone of you for your patronage, your support and friendship over the years and all your kind words upon my new venture in life. God Bless and I will miss you all.
